The US concepts of informality, student responsibility, teacher responsibility, authority, individualism and intellectual property often present international students with challenges in intercultural communication. In the classroom culture unit, students will consider aspects of US classroom culture that may differ from their own cultures. The goal of this unit is to raise awareness of cultual differences and to help students develop cultural competence in US classroom settings.
