Get in the Driver's Seat

Welcome to our Web site! "Get in the Driver's Seat" is the online component of our web-based teaching unit built on the theme of driving in the United States. This Web site is designed to provide activities for users to acquire vocabulary related to the car and driving in an interactive manner. The site features a picture dictionary that allows users to see and hear words in the picture. In addition to the picture dictionary, there is an A-Z dictionary that includes additional words and pronunciations. Short quizzes are available to give users immediate feedback about their vocabulary acquisition progress. Users can also view four short videos to help put the vocabulary words in a meaningful context.
