This Web-Based Teaching Unit was created in order to prepare American students traveling to the Russian speaking countries for the shopping experience. This site offers basic words and phrases needed to buy groceries.

The site has a Vocabulary section, which includes the pictures and pronunciation of the given words. The site also has a Groceries Guide section, which consists of four parts: Dairy Products, Meat Products, Wines and Spirits, and Other Products. Each of these parts offers basic phrases that are necessary to know for shopping as well as exercises to check the learning progress.
